Has anyone in government ever given a thought about economic warfare via control of the markets? At this point it would be a piece of cake for any wealthy country (Middle East countries) to come in a put the final dagger on the US confidence and the economy. All they have to do is to continue to short just as our own greedy people have been doing. That's probably more efficient than to bomb two buildings with a three-year plan.
