Heres my .02$ on Intercast and Memphis in regards to Wavo.

Currently I think the success of Intercast is good for WAVO and its Wavetop division. Anything that promotes the incorporation of TV cards into computers is a positive. It will hopefully help get the consumer market interested in the technology
If its competition later down the road it's difficult to say. Obviously Wavo isn't totally against it as they are a member of the group behind Intercast.

As for MSFT Memphis I think it's a big positive.
The most influential computer in the world is supporting a major area of Wavo. It promotes VBI datacast technology and makes technology available to everyone. Should make TV/video cards standard by late 98.
WAVO should be first into the market on the content side.

Didn't someone on this thread say they saw Microsoft engineers at Wavo awhile back? Seem's pretty positive to me.

But for the time being Newscast and Networks Division are the money makers.
"The company has almost 80,000 customers at 125 corporations reading
its data feeds and expects to double that next year, he said. Revenue for Newscast was $2 million last year, and that will increase to $5 million this year, and again to $12 million in 1998"

According to Southcoast Capital margins run about 70% for Newscast.
