CNBC is finally asking the question if there is a disconnect between the market and the economy and the answer is yes - but they aren't ready to lay the blame on the list of 4 - A through D earlier. It is becoming a myth that wall street is a predictor of the economy 6 months down the road as the focus has become a gambling and manipulation tool for the greedy and losing sight of a long term investment vehicle for pension funds, etc. It used to be only the Mafia which preyed on widows and the elderly funds, but they have plenty of company these days.
