Came in from Detroit Wed morning and read Tues th VIX close over 50, highest on record.
Gap down Wed due to retail pre-market orders.
However bear markets don't end with volatility like this, chance to play the bounce.
Last weeks decline of 7% I estimate was worth around 500 bil plus off the Wilshire, yet retail pulled 11.6 out of equity.
market vulnerable to too many squeezing throught the exits.
