I'd say it would be a negative on balance. They'd likely provide more money for a prescription benefit, but they'd certainly demand something from pharma in return in the way of lower prices.

Some of the pressure may come off prescription spending once Prilosec and Claritin are generic to add to all the recent generics of late.
