EpicEdge Achieves Major PeopleSoft Certification Requirement
AUSTIN, TX --(INTERNET WIRE)--Jul 25, 2002 -- EpicEdge, Inc. (AMEX:EDG - news), a leading information technology consulting firm, today announced that it has exceeded the 70% consultant certification requirement set by PeopleSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ:PSFT - news) for its Consulting Alliance Partners.
This is a step toward attaining 100% certified EpicEdge consultants on PeopleSoft 8 technology and applications. The PeopleSoft certification program for its consulting alliance partners gives partners the opportunity to have their individual consulting employees take knowledge-based exams on specific PeopleSoft product lines. The exams test an individual consultant's knowledge on core competencies among the various PeopleSoft product lines. EpicEdge consultants completed examination and carry certifications on the PeopleSoft toolset, Human Capital Management, and Financial Resource Management.
PeopleSoft 8 uses Pure Internet Architecture(TM) and requires new skills to implement. PeopleSoft started the certification program with the goal of increasing the number of consultants who are knowledgeable on PeopleSoft 8 implementation, optimization or upgrade.
