Just tells me that still _ even now _ there are a lot of good shorts out there. You know, stocks that aren't cyclical, their business grows regardless of what happens to the economy, etc. All the drivel.
It's interesting to see a handful of the blue-chip names starting buy-back programs again. A guy in Barron's this week got it right, I think. He said the value guys would jump in too early, because we'll overshoot to the downside.
Dow 7550 is no bargain. We'll need to look for some promising upstarts, in my opinion.
