Too bad I don't get MSNBC. Two particularly silly comments from Pinkas:

And it doesn’t mean that this fellow didn’t nestle himself in the host of civilians for the very purposes that would deter the actions that you’re talking about.

Do Israeli leaders live in military dorms? -g- What the hell is he talking about?

That the PLO, under Arafat, has turned down the offers of two Israeli leaders that have gone far beyond anything that was contemplated at Camp David that we celebrated so vigorously back in my days.

This demonstrates the contempt he has for the audience. The Camp David 1977 agreement stipulates that Israel withdraw from the West Bank and Gaza. Like all Israelis (and the American media), he is pretending this part of the agreement doesn't exist. What he really means is to compare Camp David 2000 to the treaty between Egypt and Israel in 1977. In the Egyptian deal, Israel withdrew COMPLETELY from the territories it had seized in the 1967 war. In the recent Palestinian deal, Israel was offering to pull out 20% of its settlers.
