Durable Goods Orders in U.S. Fall 3.8%, Biggest Decline in Seven Months - 7.35AM EST

[edit]...Economists had expected June durable goods orders to rise 0.6 percent to $174.9 billion after a previously reported increase of 0.9 percent in May, based on the median of 54 forecasts in a Bloomberg News survey. Orders excluding transportation equipment were expected to rise 0.5 percent.
