To All Softees: Although I thought yesterday's presentation was thoughtful and well done as far as the consumer and employees were concerned I did not come away with the feeling that MSFT had any awareness of the shareholders bewilderment concerning the plummeting value of its stock in light of all the advantages that they could cite vis a vis other tech competitors. They mentioned little about better investor relations, better media relations, and anything else that might cause MSFT to be something other than the world's most despised stock among analysts and financial pundits. It seems that they are unaware that in the final analysis it is perception that plays a large part in a company's fortunes. I know the bashers will be surprised by this but I think in the troika of investors, employees and consumers MSFT because of their internal $ strength could give a shit about the investor. JFD
