Sic'em Boys! Globalstar Panel Seeks To Investigate Loral On Contract (Dow Jones Newswires, 07-24-02) The unsecured creditors' committee of Globalstar L.P. filed a motion Friday seeking to examine documents from Loral Space & Communications Ltd. and its affiliates and also to question Loral executives familiar with a contract involving satellites in the Globalstar system. Globalstar's committee is asking a court to approve an examination under Rule 2004 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Under Rule 2004, the court may order that a company be examined or produce documents that relate to its operations, its financial condition, or to the administration of the bankruptcy case.
