I have a friend from High school who was in the first graduating class of men allowed in Vassar. He got used to having women assume he got there on the dumb guy scholarship (and he got laid less then his friends at all male colleges).

I also have a women friend who was one of the first graduating class of women at Yale. What is interesting is that grade point averages declined when men were allowed in the seven sisters colleges, but grade point averages went up when women were allowed in the all male Ivy league schools. Primarily because the previously all male schools created a brain drain on the all women's colleges, taking off the top while the women's colleges wound up taking the guys who couldn't get into Harvard or Yale.
