When INSP says they have x amount of subs that were active within the quarter, you get a handle on exactly how many overall users there were. Plus you get the figure of 1.58 as the dollar amount those numbers generated. The only thing you do not get is the monthly trend...did the users all pile on at the end? Who knows, but the overall metric jumping from 1.58 in revenues per active user to 1.68 per active user suggests to me that some of the active users are using it more than once.

The new metric of giving us the fact that each month there was an average of x amount of users is more meaningful to show the monthly adoption of new users plus an assumed amount of returning users (provided the average monthly numbers are climbing) This may be hard to decipher as we do not have a trend line, us retail investors, for the normal curve of curious users who try it once and do not return to active data use.

The returning users is the true growth metric and will be reflected in the second metric of average amount of revenues generated per user. This assumes the average revenues per user will climb as that user continues to spend money with the data services.

I am finally establishing my sentiment at hold, because we may get pushed down a bit further, but I would not sell here.

INSP is gearing up for exposure to the institutional crowd.
