Does anyone have any links comparing golds performance in a deflationary period? I'm not sure we are heading toward deflation yet but everything usually gets creamed during deflation. With the trade imbalance and USD so high, I would think we could see inflation eventually especially if Greenie starts a rate increase cycle. Futures were pricing in a 65% chance of a 25bp cut in September though. Geez...any thoughts anyone? Thanks.
