Well, another disappointment for Oakley! 2nd quarter - 13 cents (2 cents shy). As I have stated before, I want to know why the estimates are what they are. Several posts back I said they should be 11 or 12. If my estimate had been used (HA), Oakley would have beat. Oh well, 2 cents shy again! Several news releases preceeded the earnings release, namely that Oakley is suing Nike for patent infringement of XYZ lens technology. Also that they are confident that their troubles with sunglass hut are resolved, and that new products will help the 2nd half of 97. It will be interesting to see how the market knee jerks to this one! Brian, I take it you have no position right now! Best of luck..........
