If you don't mind not having the fastest CPU on the market, battery life can be excellent on Pentium Laptops as well webcenter.pcworld.aol.com Up to 6.5 hrs with ULV PIII (these require only 1/2 W while on battery power) In addition the upcoming Banias is supposed to be the first pentium processor created specifically for the mobile market, and should be able to improve on the above performance further.
