The Vet,

I agree that the future of Brisas lies with a joint development with Las Cristinas and perhaps other deposits.

Gold Reserve can sit out the saga for a while yet, if it comes to that.

I would have preferred to see Gold Reserve undertake projects outside of Venezuela as a contingency, but it is a bit late for that, and the Company remains a play on a single deposit....quite a risky strategy.

The price of gold remains shaky with an uncertain future. Recent world events have again confirmed that gold is no longer a refuge in times of crisis. Even with the stock market meltdown, gold has not reacted very well.
