I'm not ruling out another bounce, we've had some nice ones over the last month. KLAC or CSCO could do it.
But, I'm thinking bounce, no rally, seasonality thing, along with uncertainty.

Recall we had the Windows XP launch just after the September bottom...and there was lots of good comments out of the chip sector. It was as rally that came from evidence of a consumer lead tech recovery...PCs,XBOX launch, DVDs etc.. in the fall/winter.

Unfortunately, this time there is nothing to look forward to--a catalyst for some spending pick up, even in the consumer sector.
Can it be more than just seasonality?
Is it a coincidence that we have seen nothing like a rally off the September lows this year? Some smart traders must have seen the demand drop off coming.
Even Microsoft which has a monopoly, is gloomy.

Can the drop to Nasdaq 1200 reflect that the bad news is factored in already especially given the TSM comments of last week?

thanks.

(just lots of questions..don't know what to make of this market)
