Did you buy a few shares from these guys? If so,
your attitude is more than a little of a puzzle.

To my knowledge, neither Ebbers nor Sullivan have been sellers of WCOM for some time.

As for my attitude, what is puzzling to you?

I'm pissed that they published false financial statements that led me to believe the company was profitable when it wasn't. Whether their intent was malicious or not doesn't help me at all, but being objective about it, it does matter when one is doling out punishment.

BTW, I'm also pissed that our government, if the rumor they will indict the company as well as execs is true, seems so eager to feed the public appetite for blood they they would spill what little blood we shareholders have left. What good is possibly done by indicting the company? All that is accomplished is the destruction of any chance of a successful restructuring.
