The key question is will taking the high road win the respect of their adversaries, or their contempt?

When you're Israel, doesn't history show that every olive branch extended to Arafat, et al. is met with increased aggression toward an Israel perceived as weak & faltering?

You know, the Nazis didn't start losing in WW Two until the firebombing of the civilian poulation.
