Dear KG: You face the same dilemna we all do. A local radio stock adviser says JDSU has a tremendous amount of debt and is a canditate to fail. He thinks SUNW is solvent and will ultimately do well BUT says the whole tech group is going to take a year or two of STRONG economic recovery to make a sustained upward motion. All I can say is if you need the money within the next 5 years put it either in the bank or in your mattress (with rates such as they are makes little difference), if you have a LONG time horizon beyond 5 years then at these prices SUNW looks to be a pretty good bet to me. JDN
