MSFT consistently reports its investment gains or losses on its Income statement as they are recognized according to GAAP accounting. You are being deceitful again when saying they don't. I suggest you look at MSFT earnings releases to get a true picture instead of insisting that CNBC's version of MSFT's earnings is the correct version.
