Certainly, but the difference is that the Washington Times is one of the FEW US newspapers in existence which emphasizes conservative themes.

The Observer, on the other hand, is distinctive in being obviously more biased that many of its liberal bethren.

The entrance of the Washington Times into the newspaper market made it apparent just how liberal the news media had become.

Just as Fox News has made it painfully apparent how liberal most of the television news media has become.
