Michael--Well, I don't know if I'd go back to the 70% marginal tax rate (it was higher once--almost 90%), but I sure as hell don't think it makes sense to give egregiously rich people (the richest 1%, I mean) 37% of the benefits of the last one--especially if it means we're back to running deficits. Do you? _________________ How much would you like to see taxes raised ecommerceman? Do you think we should go back to the 70+% marginal tax rate of the Carter years?
