There is a lot of activity @ Norris these last 3 weeks preparing staff, sales, and production promotions for product release of VoiceLink. At the Special Shareholder meeting on 7-25-96 attendees may get a complete review of what is about to unfold. What apparently is appealing to a lot of Air Way magazine readership (Amer. Air Lines flight mag. on planes since 7-1-96) is the realization that with FlashBack -VoiceLink, one will now be able to have E-Mail on your laptop with voice files. Individuals I've spoken to in the past about FlashBack are now much more interested and suddenly are asking me how to get the product. Those I've directed to Norris will be able to place orders now and get product shipped very, very soon. When I recall 12 mos. ago how FlashBack was being marketed, this release is going to be dramatically different because the PC is now involved and the Internet as a communications network for voice file transmission is now recognized as the relatively low cost and free communications network which everyone can access. I wonder if Compuserve, AOL, Prodigy, MSN, will eventually be offering the receiving software for VoiceLink in their file updates. This will allow their membership who don't own VoiceLink to at least receive a NOS compressed file and reduce time of network voice E-Mail transmission over servers. This is a slick way to keep the network efficient and a backdoor incentive for members to acquire the VoiceLink to send and compress on their hard disk on the send side. If attendees of the shareholders meeting get updates on 7-25-96, I will try to post the information.
