As a speculation, WMB could be interesting. However, I'd be worried that they are joined at the hip to AES. It looks like AES has just raised $.25-1 billion by selling assets. This will buy them time, but perhaps not keep them out of BK. My concern about all these guys is that their counter parties could be each other. So you could get a domino effect.

Perhaps I'm being too simplistic. I certainly don't have my arms around their contracts.

Since I'm not interested in blind gambling because I like to at least know the odds, WMB is not my cup of tea.

EP on the other hand may have enough liquidity, guaranteed income stream, and stable assets to survive, and even take advantage of the current credit crunch.

Frankly, I've always assumed that Mr. Pink is a smart guy, and might have some substantive reasons for his post.

I'm waiting.
