And what do you call a person who can't see why HAL hired Cheney?

Cheney clearly had the skills required of a CEO, and that was clearly demonstrated during his tenure. I don't think anyone would seriously suggest that Rubin's position is based on his extraordinary management skills.

And where is Cheney? How come we never see the VP anymore?

Cheney has been clear about this. He has done the ethical thing, and refused to comment on these baseless allegations until the SEC has made its determination. This is precisely as it should be (and different from what the sleezeball previous administration officials routinely did). Any statement Cheney made at this point would be attacked by the Left as an attempt to manipulate the investigation.

Accounting professionals can see through the baseless charges, both with respect to Haliburton & Harken. Nitwit liberals, frankly, don't have the technical and analytical skills to understand the concepts.
