Carson, your coverage of MATK is much appreciated. Before I invested, I read your notes and your summary of the conference call. It was quite a nice job of relaying info. I've been in and out of this stock. I came back in yesterday, after I noticed the trading pattern of "going down on light volume, accumulating on higher volume". I'd like to be a long term holder and I intend to be, but I feel that it is going to be a volatile issue until they can show a profitable operation. This, to me, is a great trading stock. The future looks extremely good, IMHO. Their product has a HUGE market. Their "algae" derived DHA/RHA is way out ahead in first place. They have a new $10 million plant just recently fired up. They have FDA support from other drug companies, the WHO and, possibly pretty soon, the FDA. Hopefully, the management can pull it off! In one of your earlier notes, you had said that their oil producing factory was 6 months behind. Does that mean "6 months behind in being 100% cranked up" or "6 months behind in meeting the demand for oils"? In my call with IR they said that they have no problems with the new plant and that it was fine in April. Regards, Bob |
