Well, we saw excellent strength in the share price today rolling into tomorrow's earning announcement and conference call. We know the quarter is in the bag due to the preannouncement, but recent share price strength (especially in light of the rest of the NAZ weakness...including most of the semis) leads one to hope that Swoboda and group will unveil a few positive surprises tomorrow. Let's start the bidding with...

1. Continued strong LED demand, highlighted by new contracts with cellphone manufacturers for Fall rollout of new models. Weaker dollar has also prompted some new sales strength, ensuring bookings in first quarter will hit prior targets. So, top line outlook raised by an additional five percent. Margins improve, and we hear of yet another breakthrough in brightness for the white/ultraviolet product line.........codenamed the Solorbrite (o.k., you can do better with the next name beyond mega, ultra?)

2. Blue Laser moving into production in next quarter. Testing of 10,000 hour lifespan complete and certified. At least two venders moving to market with CREE inside. Institutional storage systems and future DVD players likely to use the blue laser.

3. UltraRf turns the corner. At least some signs of 3G rollout later this year leading to interest in product.

4. Power Devices? Something here?

4. Additional Government interest in SiC, leading to likely additional R&D grants.

5. Conversion to three inch wafer complete, assisting margin enhancements.

Well, I can hope, can't I?
