Perhaps sometime when I'm in a nostalgic mood I'll share some family stories with you. About how my parents were forced to spend their wedding night on a picket line. Or about how little my father, a construction laborer, only got called to work by the shop steward when there was no one else left, or when the builder asked or him by name, because he wouldn't steal materials off the job for the union upchain...

And maybe I'll share some stories accumulated during my career fighting for the rights of employees, fighting against the unions for the rights of employees...

I think that we owe a lot to the union organizers in the bad old days where employees were abused. I haven't forgotten. But I know that that was then and this is now and the unions have long since stopped acting in the best interests of workers in most situations. IMO, of course.
