Clarion Selects ESS Technology's DVD Chip for Automobile DVD Players
Companies to Cooperate in the Development of DVD Players for Automobile Applications

Clarion will incorporate ESS DVD chips in multiple automotive DVD product families. The first family includes Clarion's DVD Center-Unit, which is an all-in-one player that includes a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) screen and AM/FM 5.1 channel audio receiver. The next product family comprises Clarion's 6-disk DVD autochanger models. Both families are DVD-Video, Video-CD, CD-DA (CD-TEXT), CD-R/RW, and MP3 disk format compatible.
