CNBC Professor says sudden drop in VIX positive. That is signals confidence returning. In fact he thinks we've probably hit the bottom.

While I don't necessarily think we've hit the bottom, I am surprised you see the sudden drop in the VIX as bearish. It can be, but in this case, the calm in the Markets today was hardly bearish and that fact dropped the VIX reading down.
