Actually, the more I've been to places in the world, the more I've come to appreciate all the great places here in the USA. Often times just because a place is somewhere else, we think it's better, especially beaches.

For people watching, I like Venice Beach, CA.<<<

aj, i came to the same conclusion years ago - fack spending money in exotic places across the globe, most of them don't want you there,

I haven't been to venice beach in a few years (it's about 20 miles from where i live), i use to hang out there when I was a kid kid, in the 70's thru the early 90's.

I suspect it's still pretty crazy.
