ATTN Thread - I seriously need your help I have an HMO and they trying to prevent me from having a scope done tomorrow in Iowa. They say they wont pay for it which could knock me out of the study. The logic behind their position is that its outside of their list of accepted Doctors. The stupidity behind it is that all I need is 1 scope and I can be in a study that could result in my health being restored. This study has been successful in putting chrons into remission in 90% of the cases. Furthermore, It's been 12 months since my last one and due to the cancer risk I should have one every 12 months anyhow. I will know in 2 hours if they will allow me to go through with it. If they say no I would be really happy if I could count on some of you to call them up and voice your opinion. This doesn't mean call up and be nasty it just means that pressure in numbers works sometimes. For those willing to take 3 minutes of your time and make a long distance call please PM me and I will let you know at 11:15 central if they are willing to cooperate. If not......let the games begin - those bastages
