A question about the thirties depression which followed the 1929 bubble crash. Does anyone know to what valuation levels stocks dropped at the ultimate Dow bottom in 1932 in terms of P/E,P/S,p/CF,P/B etc. ? In other words, how cheap did stocks get ultimately ? Did it spread to all stocks or were there still some highflyers around ?

I've read a lot about the depression and the well documented tremendous losses of the dow etc. but I would like more information on the micro [individual stock valuation] level.

Any information is welcome, even at "gist" level ! Thanks.
