Skeeter, I don't know why (well, I actually do know why) but I don't worry a bit about the alleged "insanity" in real estate prices.

They've NEVER looked *cheap*----have they????

The very real reason for the alleged current insanity is a very real increase in demographic numbers among the home-buying age groups, and a very real shortage of buildable land in the most desirable areas---namely the areas where people want to live and where the jobs are.

I notice you mentioned you're staying put because of your job. Wise idea....LOL!!
