This is market trading on powerful mixed emotions. It is not sure whether it needs to go down any more to achieve some sense of reasonable valuation. It fears it has gone too far to the downside but has no conviction on the upside. It swings wildly from day to day, lurching from one theme to the other. It is a trading environment and not a good investing environment. OEX was a no brainer -- getting in and out. C is more risky but the payoff is better and I am playing with money from the house. The difference between us is that I readily admit that these trades are pure speculation -- you don't seem to like to acknowledge that in your trades. I bought C calls when the stock was down about a buck earlier today -- and I am more than pleased with the trade. I don't know how you did today, but if you own fmkt I guess not all speculation turns out well.
