A right not recognized does not exist Oh, the rights exist all right. You've just handed them to someone else to execute for you as they see fit. I'm surprised that doesn't bother you. It bothers me. A lot. It would be like you you committing now to buy whatever car the new head of your neighborhood council, who will be chosen later by neighborhood vote, picked out at whatever price he negotiated. Somehow I can't picture that. Our experiences may differ regarding how effective and faithful union reps may be to your interests. I understand that. But even with such a high level of trust, I'm still surprised that you would so willingly let others make your deals for you.
