On Mark Hulbert's rating service from that other board. The truth will out! suite101.com Mark Hulbert just sent me his latest Long Term performance ratings. The cards and letters have had an effect as this footnote was NOT in his January 2002 Long Term Performance Rankings. This pretty much as says that Brinker's HFD ranking is a crock of chips... Here is a "SPECIAL FOOTNOTE" just for Brinker in the Hulbert Financial Digest! Hulbert Footnote #9"In late 2000, Brinker forecasted a several-month bear market rally and recommended an investment in the NASDAQ 100 Index—a trade that has proven to be quite unprofitable. However, because Brinker at the time of making this forecast chose not to make this trade part of his model portfolios, his HFD record has not suffered as a result. Funny... I don't recall any that called the MT office when QQQ's were $86 reporting here in our testimonial thread that Brinker told them he wasn't going to buy them with his newsletter portfolio. Why else would he give three amounts of 20, 30 and 50% if not for the three portfolios? Perhaps more letters are in order? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Hulbert gets some of this incorrect still but he is making an effort to get some semblance of accuracy.
