Boingo is truly an LA band. You are probably very familiar with the leadman's later work in TV and film. His name is Danny Elfman. He has done so many soundtracks it is ridiculous. Beetlejuice and The Simpsons are two examples. There are many many more.... us.imdb.com I really didn't like Dead Man's Party, but Boingo had some really great tunes. "Only a Lad" was an incredible song as well as pretty intense social commentary. Their version of "You Really Got Me" is way cool. I saw them many times live.
