OT Harry. H-1B visas are hotly debated on job board these days. Many posters (IT job hunters) are complaining that H-1B visa holders are taking away US jobs. Qwest was sighted by one poster for using a recruiting firm from India and filling Qwest positions in Denver with H-1B visa holders from India. It does appear to be somewhat true. I just got a call for a job in the US and it was a recruiting firm based in India with a satellite office in Illinois filling jobs in the US. They also specialize in offshore software development for companies in the US.
