Coca-Cola reported earnings today. Revenues down 4 percent, EPS excluding $200 merger related activity income 45 cents versus 42 cents. Sugarwater co's PE based on last 12 months 45!
Interesting note in their report... Coke discontinued their Minute-Maid division's non-concentrated frozen O.J. in order to create more "value" for investors. This means Minute-Maid's O.J. is now all from concentrates. Should help Just Pik'd. BTW, yesterday I found some Just Pik'd O.J. on the west coast, it's currently thawing in the refrig and I'll try it later today or tomorrow morning.
Price action in FRSH is a bit disappointing, hopefully it is the action of some short term traders who became psychologically trapped in this stock last year or earlier this year now getting out and other quick flippers, selling into stronger hands. Anyway, I'm in for the longer haul. Hopefully, we'll get more reports like the latest quarter, if so the stock should take care of itself.
