Cycomm's PCMobile Chosen for Abington Township, PA Police Vehicles
MCLEAN, Va., Jul 31, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- PA Police Agency Latest to Upgrade
to PCMobile Units for Field Communications
Cycomm International Inc. (OTCBB: CYII) has received a purchase order for 25
PCMobile PIII rugged laptop computers to be installed in the Abington, PA fleet
of police vehicles.
The order will be shipped in the third quarter of 2002.
The Abington Police Department is currently upgrading its communications
infrastructure and has selected the PCMobile unit to replace its older mobile
data terminals. The units will also include CDPD, wireless modem technology, and
will run D.M.Data's public safety software package.
