Ah yes, the locally popular Hashemite restoration. The one thing I like about that one is that it's at least more honest than the more broadly popular "Democracy in Iraq" neocon propaganda line. I guess the neocons can't plausibly argue for a Hashemite restoration in Iraq, since it was already tried there by the British, and had an exceedingly finite lifetime. On the other hand, the neocons don't seem to be bothered much by history in general in their grand schemes, so maybe it will come up again.

Jordan has troops on the Border, ready to go, from what I have read.
