Am not sure if this is going to be your dream machine or not, but this is what I am getting this week.. -Intel P4 2.0A ghz skt478 (512k & .13 micron) -ASUS P4S533 (integrated sound and lan) -512MB DDR RAM PC2700 -Matrox AGP G550 Dual 32MB (dual monitor support) -1.44 floppy -Maxtor 40 GB ultra 133 2 mb (7200 rpm) - primary HD -Maxtor 80 GB ultra 133 (7200 rpm) - secondary HD -LG CDRW 32X10X40 -LG 16X dvd rom -MS internet Keyboard -Logitech Trackman Marble -Case (probably Antec PowerPlus 660 with truepower) -XP Pro Price is going to be meaningless for you since I am in Canada. But I'd say, it should be within your ball park, give or take a hundred bucks and how you shop around..
