Systems Flash Disk Pioneers (Nasdaq: FLSH) rose another 5.5% yesterday, but that’s not the important announcement. The important announcement was that the company signed a contract with Advanced Micro Devices (Nasdaq:AMD) to incorporate M-Systems’ chip in AMD’s platform, and that has immense potential. As far as M-Systems is concerns, we only have a minor disagreement with the analysts’ consensus. In contrast to the analysts, we think M-Systems will post a profit in 2003, while the analysts predict a loss this year and a smaller loss next year. We believe the company will begin posting a profit in the second half of 2003.
