It seems that whenever I look at components, I see a majority of them run VxWorks as the embedded OS. I think the lilly pad concept has worked enormously well.

The sad part of this is that WIND wasn't able to transfer even the smallest portion of their product's success into financial gain for their shareholders. Unfortunately, this same sad story is told over and over again on Wall St.
