And I don't even think that we have gotten irrational on the downside yet. Everyone I know in Silicon valley is still planning on getting rich on their options and there is still an incredible amount of fat on the payroll. I would expect surviving companies to have viable products (profitable) and to be very efficient at the end of the bear. I see many companies that are still based on blue sky. Myth's question was about the Dow, so maybe the same situation doesn't exist in dow stocks, but......
