Yes, Dennis: Looking for new lows but...........

I think one can begin buying a few things now. I like Utilities - "electric" ones. Some are beginning to revive especially the ones that were despised because of predatory energy trades like DUKE. I think Fido has a fund.

Generic drug makers look very promising. I bought a few of them recently. Now the Senate in their infinite fear has refused to put their stamp of approval on a senior drug bill, all the rage by AARP members - damn the cost, get us the pills! Just don't make us pay for them.

FRESX looks good to me. But you have to buy and hold for 3 months in this one to avoid penalties. However, Julius always liked it. And real estate is still well grounded in growth in the mainly populated areas of our country.

So today the Senate voted us a placebo. The thing is going to go to the house next and I'm sure they'll allow us grey panthers the right to buy discounted pills from Canada and not only that they'll tighten the patent laws in effect denying the primary mfgrs. extensions thereby releasing the generic drug makers economical substitutes faster.

There are four leading generic drug mfgrs. on my list - two of which I've bought. The action has picked up already. If we go to war with Iraq all bets are off for a while - just another worry to hang over our heads.

Perhaps, the safest place to be will be in M.mkt.funds at that point?
