None of which is illegal on its face, as nearly as I can determine. "Hello, Brian, this is Rubin. Is there anything you can do to help out Enron? I hear through the grapevine that they're about to have their debt downgraded, and we've got a bunch of it at Citi. I'm not aware of anything that would require a downgrade now, and I was hoping you might be able to get with the rating guys, figure out where they're coming from, and see if they'd reconsider."
